When you need to return money to the client you will create a refund. The system will create a transaction record showing the movement of funds out of the client's trust. This will appear on the Account Statement printout. 

  1. Go to Matter->[Billing] OR Billing->Invoicing section
  2. Click on the 'Issue Refund' button
  3. Complete the form and required fields
  4. Click Record Transaction to save and finish
