Time & Expense — Contact Record
To access Time & Expense for a contact:
Open a contact record
Navigate to the Time & Expense tab
This view provides a consolidated summary of all time entries, expenses, and events associated with the contact across all related matters.
From this page, users can:
View tracked time and its calculated value
See entries grouped by Matter (if the contact has multiple matters)
Filter results by:
Time
Expenses
Events
Export the data using the download (cloud) icon to generate an Excel file
This makes it easy to review the total value of work performed for a client across all cases.

Time & Expense — Matter Record
To view Time & Expense for a specific matter:
Open a matter record
Navigate to the Time & Expense tab
This view functions the same as the contact-level view, with one key difference:
It displays only the time, expenses, and events associated with that specific matter
This allows for a more focused review of activity and billing for an individual case.

The Time & Expense tab helps your team track work performed, understand the value of that work, and support accurate billing across both contacts and matters.
