In LollyLaw, you have the option to log mail directly in a matter or contact record. You also have the option to utilize our bulk mail log feature to log mail for several different matters without manually opening each individual matter record. 

 

How to Log Mail from a Matter Record: 

  1. Open the matter record and navigate to the 'Documents' tab. 
  2. Scroll down to the 'Mail Log' card and select the '+' as shown in the below photo.
  3. A pop up window will appear, where you can identify the mail as incoming or outgoing, title the mail, select a carrier, input a tracking number, update the delivery status, add a description, as well as other details. 
  4. To attach the scanned mail, select the paperclip icon as shown in the below photo. A popup window will appear. 
  5. Choose the file to upload. 
  6. Select the green 'Upload' button. 
  7. Select the green 'Save' button. 
  8. Your mail has been logged and will be accessible through the matter record's 'Documents' tab under 'Mail Log'. 

 

How to Log Mail from a Contact Record: 

  1. Open the contact record and navigate to the 'Documents' tab. 
  2. Scroll down to the 'Mail Log' card and select the '+' as pictured below. 
  3. A pop up window will appear, where you can identify the mail as incoming or outgoing, title the mail, select a carrier, input a tracking number, update the delivery status, add a description, as well as other details. 
  4. To attach the scanned mail, select the paperclip icon as pictured below. A popup window will appear. 
  5. Choose the file to upload. 
  6. Select the green 'Upload' button. 
  7. Select the green 'Save' button. 
  8. Your mail has been logged and will be accessible through the contact record's 'Documents' tab under 'Mail Log'. 

 

How to Log Mail in Bulk 

  1. Use the left sidebar to navigate to Tracker>Mail Log.
  2. Select the 'Add Mail' button as pictured below. 
  3. A pop up window will appear, where you can identify the mail as incoming or outgoing, link the mail to a contact and/or matter record, title the mail, select a carrier, input a tracking number, update the delivery status, add a description, as well as other details. 
  4. To attach the scanned mail, select the paperclip icon as pictured below. A popup window will appear. 
  5. Choose the file to upload. 
  6. Select the green 'Upload' button. 
  7. Select the green 'Save' button. 
  8. Your mail has been logged and will be accessible through the mail log, or within the contact and/or matter record within the 'Documents' tab under 'Mail Log'.
